New sea-rail services to bypass disruptions on BTK railway
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway, connecting Turkey to Azerbaijan via Georgia, has been experiencing disruptions due to maintenance work. While there seem to be disagreements on who is keeping the infrastructure to reopen, companies still have to figure out alternatives for their freight transport services. For example, Ady Container has announced new rail-sea intermodal services to bypass this bottleneck.
