A Middle Corridor joint venture might be closer than expected

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement to establish a single company operating in the Middle Corridor. The two parties expect Georgia to join them as well soon. The result will be a new tripartite company that will focus on tariff unification, handling all cargo in the Middle Corridor and dropping transit times to 10-15 days. Additionally, the partners also agreed on intensifying digitalisation by involving international investors.
