This year is certainly not easy for rail freight forwarders focusing on transportation between China and Europe. The northern route crossing Russia becomes even more complicated as the sanctions tighten. Meanwhile, the demand from Europe drops sharply, with more traffic from China going directly to Central Asia and Russia. One cannot help but ask: how to make the most out of the current Silk Road situation?

To answer this question, RailFreight.com has invited four Silk Road experts from KTZ, Maersk, RTSB and the Polish Forwarding Company (PFC) to join an online debate on 14 September during a RailFreight Webinar. New Eurasian rail transport products, low volumes and Middle Corridor developments are some of the topics that will be highlighted during this webinar.

The guests attending the online discussion include Dmitrij Hasenkampf, General Manager of Sales and Business Development at RTSB; Miłosz Witkowski, Railfreight Director at PFC; Yerzhan Nauruzbayev, Director of the Business Transformation Center at KTZ, and Irakli Danelia, Central Asia & Caucasus Region Business Development Manager at Maersk.
