For the first two quarters of 2023, the transit volumes of Azerbaijan Railways amounted to 3,527,698 tons, roughly 150.000 tons less than the same period last year. Transit traffic via Azerbaijan is relatively stagnant, with volumes slightly decreasing so far in 2023, despite Middle Corridor volumes theoretically growing. What could be a possible explanation?
