Political support for companies operating in the Rhine-Alpine Corridor is on the way. The Swiss government considers supporting financially the electrification of the Wörth-Strasbourg line crossing through France. The aim is to create a long-term viable alternative to the frequently disrupted Rhine-Alpine route.

A pragmatic, an intriguing Swiss/France “BRI”, adding several advantages: redundancy (thus providing for robustness) capacity, punctuality (Swiss…), etc., etc. Just by ensured high quality, just by proving superior to on road trucks, railways will prove sustainable and provide for sound, sustainable financing (by willingly paying clients) thus for maintenance demanded, etc., etc.
