There currently seems to be a cloud of uncertainty around the future of Bahnoperator Austria and Bahnoperator Polska’s holding company, Lienzer Dolomiten Beteiligungsgesellschaft (LDB). At the beginning of July, a file for bankruptcy was submitted to the Alpine Association of Creditors (AKV). The company denied the allegations, but AKV told RailFreight.com that “the proceedings are still pending” and that a date for the trial has been set.
