Self-service portal My ProMedia
What is RailFreight Premium?
RailFreight.com, the independent news site for the rail freight industry, launched a premium model on the 17th of April. This means that articles, except for general news, will only be available to members. In this way, the editorial team aims to ensure the quality and independence of the reporting and be an even better source of information for professionals in the rail freight industry.
I have a free account but I can’t read Premium articles anymore.
With a free account, you had access to read all premium content on RailFreight.com for free until 1 May 2023. From 1 May onwards you can become an official member of RailFreight Premium. You can buy a paid subscription via this link.
If I buy a subscription now, when will I have access?
If you buy a subscription via this page, you have direct access.
You can cancel your subscription by sending an e-mail to our customer service (email@example.com). Customer service will send you a cancellation confirmation email.
You can pay via invoice and credit card. Please note: you can only select the payment method ‘paying by invoice’ on the website. However, after creating your member account, you will receive an e-mail including the invoice and a direct link to pay via Ideal, Bancontact, credit card (Mastercard or Visacard).
Self-service portal My ProMedia
What is the self-service portal and how can I access it?
My ProMedia is our online portal where you arrange your subscriptions by yourself. You can manage contacts, change and/or add administrators and assign reader licenses. You can log in to My ProMedia via: https://my.promedia.nl/s/login/. Enter your e-mail address and password to log in.
What can I manage myself via the self-service portal?
In the self-service portal, you can change your password, change your contact details and give reader’s licences to colleagues. My ProMedia has two profiles: the administrator and the user. Thanks to these different levels, you work in your own environment and you have different rights.
The subscription manager is the main point of contact for ProMedia regarding your subscription. As an administrator you can see everything from the entire organization, you have all rights in My ProMedia and you can use all functionalities.
The administrator will not always be the (only) person who arranges operational matters in My ProMedia. Therefore, as an administrator, you can also create another colleague administrator. This way you can arrange your subscription yourself when it suits you. You are no longer dependent on the opening hours of our customer service or the availability of our employees.
The user only gains insight into his or her personal information, such as the profile data. The environment for users is more limited than the admin portal.
How can I change my subscription?
If you want to upgrade your subscription, you can send a mail to our customer service. We are happy to help you.
Only an administrator of a subscription can give a colleague a reader’s license. You click on “User management”, “Add user” and fill in the personal details of your colleague. Your colleague will receive an email to set a password in the online portal. If your colleague has created the password, he or she can also log in to RailFreight.com or another Premium website directly.
I have a question about the self-service portal. Is there a manual?
We have a manual for the portal. You can see the manual via this link.
I forgot my password. What can I do?
In the self-service portal, you can request a new password. At “user name” you fill in your email address and you will receive an e-mail to reset your password.
I have another question, who can I call or email?
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions. If your question is not listed, please contact our customer service: +31 (0)10 280 1000 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The customer desk is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. C.E.T. Monday through Friday.
