The RailFreight Connects days are less than two months away. RailFreight.com is organising a webinar on Thursday 20 July at 2 pm to give a little taste of what to expect from this new event. Moreover, the webinar will be an opportunity to discuss the Greening Freight Package, which will be one of the highlights of the event.

RailFreight Conencts will in fact be the first European-level event where the Greening Freight Package will be discussed thoroughly with sector representatives. Special guest of the webinar will be Akos Ersek, Chief Policy Advisor at UIRR, the International Union for Road-Rail combined transport. The RailFreight Connects will bring the rail and port industry together to discuss how the synergies between the two sectors can be enhanced. The synergies between ports, terminals, and rail infrastructure have recently been under the spotlight, especially in Europe, where ports are increasingly investing in improving rail connectivity. The RailFreight Connects, which will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bremen, Germany, on 6 and 7 September, will be the perfect opportunity for the industry to discuss how these synergies can be boosted.
