German train drivers launch another strike, worsening massive backlog

A second round of warning strikes by train driver union GDL starts today, Thursday, 7 December. The strike will commence at 18:00 for freight services and 22:00 for passenger trains. It will end on Friday, 8 December, at 22:00. The warning strike occurs as GDL enters the next round of collective bargaining negotiations with Deutsche Bahn and other companies.

Goal of Union is obstructed, by Commision – and by DB. (Sustainable, equal, conditions are not provided – for meeting competition, from far away, low cost manufactured.)
Railwaystandards, optimal 100 years ago, when steam was outed, now are “cemented”, at TEN-T… and allow for extra upon majority, clients of single available alternative, the on road transports, etc., etc.
(Longer trains, now is single alternative for adding to load capacity – to edge of railways…) This is not sustainable!
