COVID belongs to the past, and the Suez Canal obstruction was cleared out in the end, but the trauma inked in the global supply chain is real, at least for manufacturers. A wave of nearshoring strategies is rising in Europe, bringing the factories back to the continent despite the cheaper labour costs in countries such as China. The question is, why and where are businesses relocating?
