What is the best approach to establishing sustainable and future-proof Eurasian supply chains and corridors? How are nearshoring attempts developing, and how do they shift the business landscape? These and more questions will be answered during the upcoming European Silk Road Summit 2023 in Budapest between 29 November and 1 December.

The first speakers of this year’s edition have already been announced and include representatives from investment banks to railway companies and from Brussels to Kazakhstan. For instance, representatives of institutions and organisations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Deloitte and Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis (CBRE) will be present in Budapest.

Grigory Savva, associate director at EBRD’s Sustainable Infrastructure Group, has co-authored the report ‘Sustainable transport connections between Europe and Central Asia’, which formulated the stance of the European Commission towards the Middle Corridor. He will expand on the topic during the European Silk Road Summit 2023, providing further insights about sustainable transport and business options along Eurasia.

Przemysław Piętak, who develops and manages supply chain advisory projects at CBRE, will also be on stage. As a real estate expert who knows very well how the nearshoring of the supply chain has developed, he will share which companies have settled where and how relevant shifts could shape the logistical landscape.

Moreover, Rati Devadze, an experienced transport and logistics professional currently working as a Transport and Logistics Policy Advisor at USAID Economic Governance Program implemented by Deloitte, will bring forward his knowledge and relevant recommendations that public institutions and private sector stakeholders have already applied or are in the process of doing so.
