China-Europe rail freight volumes seem to have increased by 30 per cent for the first half of the year, reaching 936,000 TEU. In terms of operated trains, the number has increased by 16 per cent year-on-year, accounting for 8,641 trains. For European forwarders, those numbers seem a bit far-fetched.
