Duisport aims to use hydrogen locomotives

As part of the broader pan-European effort to decarbonise rail freight transport, Duisport initiates a study to develop its first hydrogen shunting locomotive. Together with the Geman Aerospace Centre (DLR) and the Centre for Fuel Cell Technology (ZTB), the German hub aims to decrease its CO2 footprint and expand rail usage.
