Although the corridor between Rotterdam and Genoa is currently facing restrictions due to winter weather in the Netherlands, there was plenty of good news to share this winter. One after the other service was opened up for P400 trailers. Previously, these containers could not be transported along the Ceneri Pass.In today’s show, Alessandro Valenti from Hupac will explain what this development means for the intermodal industry.

In the meantime, the disruptions in the port of Rotterdam continue. On the sixth day after a snowstorm hit the Netherlands, freight trains are still only seeing very little movement. On Tuesday afternoon, we visited the port to see with our own eyes what work is being done to overcome the problems. We spoke to several railway companies about their problems. The report is broadcasted in today’s show.
