Russian Railways meets Putin: new plans for the port of Lavna

Oleg Belozyorov, the president of Russian Railways (RZD) met with Russian president Vladimir Putin on Monday 6 February and discussed the past year and future plans. Among the latter, there is the intention to start new rail freight traffic via the port of Lavna, not too far from the border with Norway, which will be ready by the end of the year.
