The Spanish Transfesa Logistics, a Deutsche Bahn subsidiary, has made its facilities and resources available to different health delegations in the country to help with the distribution and storage of sanitary protection material. This is needed in order to battle the spread of the coronavirus.

The company has already started transporting material from different locations to the IFEMA hospital, Spain’s largest field hospital to manage the rising number of coronavirus patients. As of today, there are 104,118 people infected and 9,387 deaths resulting from the virus in Spain.

Everyone does his share

Transfesa Logistics’ CEO Bernd Hullerum commented: “it is a source of pride to see how each employee is doing their best to help in any way we can. We will only get out of this situation if each and every one of us does our share.”

Transfesa Logistics is also offering storage space for the materials in its warehouses of Alcalá de Henares, Barcelona and Valencia, as well as in other locations distributed throughout the different regions and throughout Europe.
