
Untapped Mongolian coal will ship to China via rail

Mongolia has inaugurated a new railway line, connecting the world’s largest untapped coking and thermal coal mine with the Chinese border. The newly established railway starts from Tavan Tolgoi and terminates at Gashuun Sukhait, spanning a distance of 233,6 kilometres, with a designed capacity of 30 to 50 million tonnes per year.
