At the same time G7 leaders stressed the danger of the growing dominance of China in the world at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, China hosted the first-ever China-Central Asia summit in Xi’an, nurturing the relationship between the countries. The heads of five Central Asian countries – namely Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – could not agree more. The BRI seems to be the paste gluing the neighboring states closer together than ever.
