
Altynkol – Kaliningrad – Hamburg: regular and regardless of demand

UTLC ERA and Belintertrans Germany have started a regular multimodal service on the Altynkol – Kaliningrad – Hamburg route. It has a transit time of between 12-14 days, and runs regardless of the volumes on the New Silk Road. The service is now running on a weekly basis, and the plan is to offer a frequency of two times per day in October.

As I can see transit time is counted from Kazakhstan border. To compare the transit time between different services we need to compare starting point in China like Xi’an, Chengdu and final point like Łódź, Malaszewicze or Duisburg. Now the information about transit time is not clear. What is the total transit time we still don’t know and have to guess.
