Freight is back on track in Greece after three-month hiatus

Rail freight services via the central Greek railway axis have recommenced after three months of immobility. The track connecting the port of Piraeus to the Balkans and Central Europe has been partially restored, allowing diesel-powered freight trains to transit a few times per day. Piraeus and COSCO are not completely stranded anymore from the rest of the European railway network.
