Geseke accident: At least a week before clearing site and assessing damages

It will take at least until the end of next week to remove the wagons from the Geseke accident site in Germany, and only then can the damage assessment begin. Three rail cranes are currently deployed for this task. DB estimates that due to the accident, at least 200 metres of track will need to be replaced; however, it is still unclear how long repair work will last.
