Ukraine will deploy trains and barges for exports after Grain Deal breaks

Russia has officially withdrawn from the UN-brokered Grain Deal. Consequently, Ukraine can no longer export grain and other agricultural products from its Black Sea ports under a special regime. Andrii Dykun, chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council, said to RailFreight.com that rail via Moldova and barge services in the Danube will be the main export arteries for Ukrainian products. From September on, Ukraine-Poland rail services could also assist.
