Fret SNCF banned from Combined Transport services for 10 years

The French national rail freight company Fret SNCF is currently undergoing major changes to avoid sanctions from the European Commission (EC). RailFreight.com interviewed two spokespersons from the company. The main conclusion is that Fret SNCF will be banned from carrying out Combined Transport (CT) and blocktrain services for the next 10 years. The new operational entity will still offer services for single wagonloads and groups of wagons, which “are the Fret SNCF’s DNA”.
