Ermewa aquires 154 railcars from ROSCO Bohemia

Railcar leasing company Ermewa SA has purchased 154 additional Sggrss 80ft railcars from European rolling stock company ROSCO Bohemia, part of the CzechoSlovakGroup CSG. The company aims to increase its presence in Germany, Czech Republic and Romania.

“This new acquisition reinforces Ermewa’s presence in the intermodal business and illustrates its willingness to strengthen its position in this growing segment”, the company noted. In January this year it acquired the intermodal fleet of Macquarie European Rail, adding 600 wagons to its repertoire

CSG

“This project shows the willingness and capability of CSG to develop railway industry as one of the pillars of our group. CSG is proud of its cooperation with Ermewa” added Petr Formánek, Head of Corporate Finance at CSG.

Ermewa SA offers a global fleet of 42,000 railcars to freight forwarding companies, railway undertakings and industrial companies, from any sector: steel, oil, gas, chemicals, palletised goods, aggregates, containers, timber, foodstuff, etc.
