Underground rail freight line to be constructed near Rotterdam

The Dutch municipalities of Dordrecht and Zwijndrecht, located next to Rotterdam, conducted a study about the construction of a rail freight line in their region. The study’s results show that an underground freight railway might be in the making very soon since it is the best option in terms of safety and urban development.
