UIRR study warns for consequences of new EU road haulage rules

UIRR unveiled the results of a study concerning the impact of the new EU road haulage rules on Combined Transport (CT). The rules, otherwise known as Mobility Package I, could lead to an 8 per cent decrease of CT volumes. Simultaneously, they could cause an additional 12 million tonnes of CO2 emissions by 2030.
