Career move: Harald Jony new CEO of Cargoe Austria

Harald Jony, who previously managed the Viennese terminal Wiencont, takes over the sole management of Cargoe GmbH & Co. KG, based in Austria. This company specialises in value-added and wholesale logistics. He succeeds Jan Grubert and Reiner Holzmann, who take on other tasks.

The new appointment is being made in the course of a reorganisation of the company. It splitted its management for Austria and Germany. While the previous dual leadership was responsible for the Austrian and German markets at the same time, Jony will concentrate on Austria and above all on the further expansion of value-added logistics.
With the same focus, Grubert takes over the Germany activities, while Holzmann supports the management as a consultant.

Cargoe

Cargoe is a subsidiary of the Melo group of companies which, with the restructuring, is addressing the growing importance of value-added logistics as a growth driver for Austria and Germany. According to the company, the offer will be continuously expanded in both markets in order to tap additional customer groups.

Harald Jony’s previous career has led from 2003 to ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG and Rail Cargo Logistics – Austria GmbH to WienCont Container Terminal GmbH. Most recently, as managing director, he was responsible for operations, sales, human resources and IT at WienCont.
