More developments towards interconnected rail freight business
RAILVIS.com is moving forward. The platform underwent some development in the past couple of months with the addition of new functionalities. At the same time, some of the existing ones have been significantly improved (two-step booking process, simplified locomotive booking and offering process, hourly pricing model introduction, improved locomotive-route (LZ) function). Furthermore, the platform has introduced plans for the sell/buy function recently. The new function will enable the platform users to directly sell or buy a locomotive or a freight wagon.
RAILVIS.com is a digital platform for rail freight. Its goal is the complete digitalisation of the railway business and the connection of all European customers and suppliers into a single environment. It gathers companies from all over Europe, like Ermewa, Railpool, PJSC TransContainer, Budamar, CZ Loko and many others. According to Ctirad Klimánek, Executive Director at RAILVIS.com, the platform brings a new dimension to the industry, thanks to a transparent interconnection of all European partners with an overview of all available free capacities.
RAILVIS HUB in full swing
Currently, RAILVIS.com is preparing to launch a completely new product – RAILVIS HUB. The HUB will become a major online company search engine designed to connect companies across the industry with the common denominator – RAILWAY LOGISTICS. It will be all about railway transport in one place, with the possibility to filter the search results based on location, category, subcategory.
The new product release will take place in June. The RAILVIS HUB membership will offer a variety of features to railway companies. For instance, they will have the opportunity to present and promote their products exclusively. Moreover, they will be able to do it in a tailored way since they will customise their profile pages by adding their logos and relevant content. All of these will take place in an easy to use platform.
