TFG Transfracht starts regular line Graz and German seaports

TFG Transfracht

TFG Transfracht has started running freight trains between Graz, the capital of the Austrian state of Styria, and the northern German ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven.

According to operator TFG, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, this is a regular service with fixed departures and arrivals. The operator could not yet make any statements about the precise frequency.

Customer demand

Since April last year, Transfracht has been running trains between the port of Koper (Slovenia), Graz and the northern German seaports. By including Graz in a regular service, TFG is responding to customer demand.

TFG claims to be the market leader in container transport by rail from and to the German ports. More than five ports and 23 terminals are served daily by the so-called Albatros Express Services.
