Rail freight is synonymous with a sustainable European future. Grabbing the opportunities offered after the Covid-19 pandemic to improve the sector is of central importance. These are some of the insights provided at the event ‘Unlocking the full potential of rail freight’. This took place on 19 November and was organised by the Community of European Railway (CER). The purpose was to explore how new advances and existing experience can lead rail freight into reaching its full potential.
