AlbatrosExpress connected to Port of Koper with direct weekly lines

FG Transfracht has connected its AlbatrosExpress network with the Slovenian port of Koper. Since 20 May it is offering direct services from the southern port to several destinations in Austria and Germany.

The terminals in Enns and Salzburg will see two departures per week for import and export.In addition, the existing connection between Munich and Salzburg will provide a direct link from southern Germany to the port at Koper. The new connection between Enns and Salzburg created by the regular train offers further options and flexibility for transport with TFG.

Adriatic coast

“By expanding the connection to Koper, we can serve the growing demand of our customers for transport to and from the Adriatic ports. We are pleased to offer our customers even greater flexibility in transport”, explains Oswin Stummvoll, Head of Austria Region at TFG Transfracht.

The AlbatrosExpress network includes daily connections from the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, and Koper to over 15,000 locations throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. TFG Transfracht is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG with an annual transportation volume of 950,000 TEU (2018).
