Intermodal operator Hupac launches a new connection from the north of Italy, in addition to increasing existing services this month. This weekend, a new service between and Rotterdam will commence. The Novara-Zeebrugge service will be increased in frequency as soon as next week, while the Busto Arsizio-Köln Nord shuttle will see more departures sometime this month.

With the new connections to Rotterdam and Zeebrugge, Hupac opens up another route from the north of Italy into the UK, as regular ferry services are available to forward cargo across the North Sea. From Rotterdam C.RO terminal, three weekly trains will depart to Brescia starting from 7 April. Four days later, a frequency increase from five to six departures per week is foreseen for the shuttle Novara-Zeebrugge P&Ol. The service allows the transportation of P400 megatrailer, noted Hupac.

Busto Arsizio-Cologne

Hupac introduces three additional departures for the shuttle connection between Köln Nord and Busto Arsizio in April, although the exact date has not been released. Additional departure days in Cologne are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; additional departure days in Busto are Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

“This is a positive development for our new offer based in Köln Nord terminal: the location offers a high level of service performance and secures reliable loading processes. Opening hours are from 06:00 to 22:00”, noted Hupac.
