Rail Cargo Carrier Germany and RailCube in systems pilot

Rail Cargo Carrier Germany (RCC-DE), the German arm of ÖBB, Austria’s national rail freight division, has announced the launch of a short-term pilot scheme with software and systems developer Railcube for help with its operations management.

Anton Forstner, Managing Director of RCC-DE, said he was ‘very happy’ that the two were entering into a pilot phase: “We’ve considered quite a few options for Operations Management and are happy to be working with the RailCube team towards a future strategic partnership. Once the pilot is successfully concluded we are going to utilize the RailCube suite of applications for the next three years.”

Ernstjan Aalbersberg, director at Softlogix, developer of RailCube said: “We are happy that such a large international carrier as Rail Cargo Carrier has chosen RailCube as its new platform for Operations Management.
